Biography
Yuri is earning a master’s degree at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music under Mark Holloway and Mauricio Fuks. This fall he joins the Graduate String Quartet-in-Residence at University of Colorado-Boulder. Yuri is a member of the Owensboro Symphony Orchestra, Columbus Indiana Philharmonic, and Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra. In 2020 he participated in the Britten Pears Young Artist Programme - Chamber Music Lab Residency. Awards include the 2022 Macauley Chamber Music Competition 1st Prize and the 2019 Bonn String Quartet Competition 1st Prize.
