Biography

Praised for her “unforgettably powerful voice” and performances that bring “majestic, full-toned dignity” to every role, Rhoslyn Jones has graced major opera companies and orchestras across North America.

She serves on the Voice Faculty for the San Francisco Opera Center’s Adler and Merola programs, as well as at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where she aims to shape the next generation of opera singers. A frequent guest teacher at top conservatories and young artist programs including Curtis Institute, Chautauqua Institute, and the Banff Centre, she leads with excellence, kindness, and an “affirming and comforting presence.” She is also an award winning stage director, a published writer, and a fierce advocate and mentor for arts education and advocacy.
