Biography
MARIKO SHIMASAKI 24, born in Springfield, Ohio, is pursuing her master’s degree at Mannes School of Music studying with Mr. Lewis Kaplan as a full scholarship recipient. The Yamaha Young Performing Artist participated in Carnegie Hall's inaugural National Youth Orchestra of the USA and Aspen Music Festival and School, and is a member of chamber music trio Three.
