Jared Eben

Biography

Sing! Collaborative Pianist

Born and raised in Fresno, California, pianist and composer Jared Eben is a former member of the Adjunct Faculty at California State University Stanislaus where he taught class piano, and performed with music students and faculty members while serving as the department staff accompanist. Mr. Eben attended Chapman University where he earned a bachelor's degree in Piano Performance. Under the direction of Karen Knecht, Mr. Eben was the South Section Winner of the Music Teachers’ Association of California 2009 Piano Competition. Mr. Eben holds a master’s degree in Piano Performance from New York University, where he earned the Steinhardt Scholarship and studied under Eduardus Halim. Jared Eben is currently a doctoral candidate in Collaborative Piano at UCSB under the direction of Robert Koenig.
