Izaiah is earning his bachelor’s degree at Curtis Institute of Music in the studios of Katherine Needleman and Philippe Tondre. In October 2023, he performed Reena Esmail's Pranayam on NPR’s “From the Top” with Peter Dugan. Competition victories include the 2022 Schubert Club Young Artist Competition and the 2023 Minnesota Orchestra Young People's Symphony Concert Association Concerto Competition. The latter culminated in performances of the Martinu Oboe Concerto in January 2024. He also has performed with the National Youth Orchestra as co-principal oboist and English horn soloist.
