Biography
Emma Matthews, a native of Vernon, New Jersey, joined the Music Academy in May 2024. At the age of 14, she earned a scholarship to attend the renowned Rock School for Dance Education in Philadelphia. She went on to enjoy a ten-year professional ballet career, performing with Orlando Ballet, Nashville Ballet, and State Street Ballet. Some of her favorite productions she performed in include Carmina Burana, Pavane, The Sleeping Beauty, La Sylphide, Western Symphony, and The Nutcracker.
Emma began her career in social media, photography, and marketing in 2021 with State Street Ballet. She is a graduate of Northeastern University, where she completed her Bachelor of Science in Digital Communication and Media with honors. Emma brings a unique blend of artistic talent, strategic insight, and creative versatility to her role at the Music Academy and is thrilled to contribute to its mission.
