Biography
Elio is earning a master’s degree in Opera Directing at University of Texas at Austin, studying with Garnett Bruce. In 2021 and 2022 he served as assistant director of the Miami Music Festival and at the Savannah VOICE Festival in 2022. He has also assistant directed at Butler Opera Center for Missy Mazzoli's Proving Up and at Northwestern University for David T. Little's Dog Days. Elio is also a singer with both bachelor's and master's degrees from Northwestern University, and attended Chautauqua Opera Conservatory from 2017-2019.
