Biography
Austin completed a master’s degree at Cleveland Institute of Music studying with Michael Sachs. Austin has appeared with The Cleveland Orchestra, Cincinnati Symphony, Kansas City Symphony, North Carolina Symphony, and the National Philharmonic of Maryland. He participates in the Cleveland Orchestra Trumpet Program at Wade Park School as a mentor. 2021 awards include the Sphinx Orchestral Partners Association Competition, Brass and Percussion Division, Winner; and the ITG Orchestral Excerpt Competition (Ryan Anthony Memorial Competition), Finalist (Runner-up).
