Alex received his Diploma in operatic performance from the  University of Toronto, where he has performed the roles of Figaro in Il Barbiere di Siviglia and Count Gil in Il segreto di Susanna. At the Chautauqua Institution (Opera Conservatory), he performed Il Conte in Le nozze di Figaro and Elviro in Serse. Alex was a member of the Canadian Children's Opera Company / Canadian Opera Company and appeared wih the Toronto Symphony Orchestra in Die Zauberflöte as the Second Spirit. Awards include: Canadian Opera Company Ensemble Studio Competition - Finalist (2022),  Atelier Lyrique de l’Opéra de Montréal – Finalist (2021), Detroit (Michigan Opera Theatre) Opera Resident Artist Program - Finalist (2022),  and Jeunes Ambassadeurs Lyriques (2021).
