Biography
Sophia is pursuing a bachelor’s degree at Northwestern University studying with John Thorne, where she performs with the University’s Symphony Orchestra and Symphonic Wind Ensemble. Sophia also appeared in the 2021 Kent Blossom Music Festival. She won the 2018 Florida Flute Association High School Young Artist Competition and took First Place in the 2017 Harrison School for the Arts Concerto Competition.
