Biography
CHRISTOPHER LAVEN 19, born in Houston, Texas, is an undergraduate at Shepherd School of Music at Rice University, studying under Timothy Pitts. Mr. Laven was selected to participate in the Boston University Tanglewood Institute for three summers. In 2015, he toured China with the National Youth Orchestra. Mr. Laven has appeared on NPR’s From the Top.
