Biography

Chet Stussy is a graduate student studying musicology at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he also works as a teaching assistant in the music department. He began his undergraduate studies at the New England Conservatory of Music, later receiving his bachelor's degree in music from Westmont College. Chet has worked as a teaching artist for the Santa Barbara Symphony’s education programs and has also worked at the Music Academy of West during the summer festivals of 2016, 2017, and 2019. An active musician in the Santa Barbara area, Chet can be heard in a variety of ensembles as an accordionist and tubist.
