Road Trip! Sasha Cooke performs Mahler with the Los Angeles Philharmonic

Delight in symphony, song, and inspiring company as we experience the Los Angeles Philharmonic in their final week of the Mahler Grooves Festival, conducted by the legendary Gustavo Dudamel. Alma Mahler’s Five Songs will transport you through the stunning voice of mezzo-soprano Sasha Cooke—beloved Music Academy alum and co-director of the Academy’s Lehrer Vocal Institute. The concert culminates in Gustav Mahler’s Fifth Symphony, a stirring journey from sorrow to triumph.

Relax with fellow music enthusiasts on a comfortable round-trip journey to Disney Concert Hall, including a post-concert reception in the Founders Room at Disney Hall, with Sasha Cooke and Music Academy alums, hosted by Jerry and Kathleen Eberhardt.
