Ruoxi recently earned her Graduate Diploma from the New England Conservatory in the studio of MaryAnn McCormick. In 2024, she won District Winner and Encouragement awards at the Laffont Competition. Recent roles include Diana in Cavalli's La Calisto, and Pamina in Mozart's Die Zauberflöte.
