Emma Matthews

Emma Matthews, a native of Vernon, New Jersey, joined the Music Academy in May 2024. At the age of 14, Emma was awarded a scholarship to attend the renowned Rock School for Dance Education in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She began her professional ballet career a few years later, and performed with the Orlando Ballet, Nashville Ballet, and State Street Ballet over the course of ten years. Some of her favorite ballets she has performed include Carmina Burana, Pavane, The Sleeping Beauty, La Sylphide, Western Symphony, and The Nutcracker.

Emma began her social media, photography, and marketing career in 2021 with the State Street Ballet. She is also a multi-scholarship student at Northeastern University and is pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Digital Communication and Media. Emma brings a unique blend of artistic talent, strategic thinking, and versatility to her role at the Music Academy, and is excited to be a part of the organization.
